Where Do I start?

You may think to yourself, where do I start?
I started with Oprah Winfrey’s hanger experiment. Hang all your clothes in the reversed direction on your hangers. After you wear an item, hang it in the closet with the hanger facing the correct direction. After a couple of months or so, you’ll have a clear picture of which clothes you don’t wear as often.
The untouched hangers are ready to be donated, for you know you are good without them. This fun experiment can be done with many house held items. Once you have decided what you are going to donate, bring in the trash bags or bins. Decide what belongings you want to donate to charities, hand down to a relative or friend, or to give to a local organization such as “A Chance to Dance”.
Separate your unneeded belongings into different categories such as t-shirts, bags, shoes, coats, etc. Organize each category into your bags or bins with a label on each. Once you are ready to share, research local places you can share your unused clothes. Last but not least, challenge your friends and dare them to share!
