Thank you, Tuscaloosa Civinettes

Hi everyone! I want to give Tuscaloosa Civinettes a huge thank you for such a successful DTS event! I had the privilege to partner with Tuscaloosa Civinettes, a community service club for high school girls, to collect women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing.

We donated the clothing to the Thrift Shoppe in Gadsden, which is intended to be an “department store style thrift shop” with gently used items. The Shoppe provides an additional source of revenue for Hospice of Marshall County, a non-profit agency, who continues to provide care to the community.

I am proud to say that we collected around 1000 items of clothing. The volunteers of Hospice of Marshall County are compassionate, dedicated people who I was honored to meet. It is so inspirational to see people sharing their time with others to make our world a better place.
