Make sharing simple

Sharing your belongings can be very simple, for you do not have to go “all out” and donate everything to your local charity in order to share. You can share close to home.
When I competed in Miss North Alabama’s Outstanding Teen, my sisters shared their time and belongings with me in order for me to be ready and prepared. I could not have succeeded without them.
First, one of my sisters shared her prom dress with me. I did not have to go out to buy a brand new dress. I turned her beautiful prom dress into my eveningwear gown for the weekend. She also shared with me her stunning solo costume and solo song. Sharing isn’t always dealing with a physical possession, for my sister shared her solo song with me for me to use as my solo in the talent proportion of the competition.
I also wore the costume she shared with me to top it off. My other sister shared her time and talents with me to get ready for the big weekend. She made sure I was ready! She would work with me on my talent solo and give me all the constructive criticism I needed everyday. Without my sisters’ shared time, services, and possessions, I would not have been able to achieve my goal. Thank you for everything!
